Game engine sync: What is there to know?
This program lets you link and the for sync a 3D scene in the popular 3D creation program Maya to your own game engine.
In theory, whatever you create in your Maya 3D scene will show up directly in your game engine scene in real-time.
You want a cube in your game?
BOOM! have a cube in your game engine with one simple click in Maya!
You want to make that cube into a character? Watch that character come to life in two viewports at once!
This isn't really the best use for the program though. Mainly you would like to see how objects will look like in your game engines shaders, lighting, colors and so on. Things you would usually have to test by exporting, importing, placing, and so on.
The program is more of a proof of concept in its current state, but it does support materials well! It recreates the material in your game engine as well! 🤩
